Charles Neil Mortimer played Sir Thomas Grey in "King Henry the Fifth" at the Theatre Royal, Sadlers Wells, London, on Saturday, 27, and Monday 29 November, 1862. Following this performance, he played the First Officer, in "The Minister of Finance", a comic drama. A poster for these plays is in the collection.
The play was produced by the well known actor, producer and manager, Samuel Phelps, who played King Henry in this performance.
The poster informed that on the following Tuesday and Wednesday, there would be performance of Hamlet.
